Lt. Col Ken Bourland

served 15 years Active Duty in the U.S. Air Force. While in Iraq, Ken served with the USMC where he flew countless hours of combat and rescue missions.

Ken gave his life

on Jan 12, 2010 while serving his country. He is survived by Peggy Bourland Evans (Lead Coach, ITF 280), his sister Kellie Bourland (ITF Floater Coach), and his sons Chance, Charley, and Andrew.

  • All proceeds will benefit the Lt. Col. Kenneth D. Bourland Scholarship (benefitting the Air Force ROTC) at Samford University
  • Free Registration - For those that only want to participate in the workout
  • $30 Registration - Participate in the workout and receive a commemorative T-shirt
  • Donations - There will also be an additional option to donate to the cause regardless of whether you participate in the workout or not!

You will have the option to do either workout as a partner workout with one person working at a time.

Buy-in: 800m Run with Plate Overhead 25/15
*After the Run, construct your barbell, then perform:
5 rounds of:
12 Thrusters 95/65
12 20" Box Barbell Step-ups 95/65
12 Pull-ups
12 Hand Release Push-ups
*After the 5 rounds, deconstruct your barbell
Cash-out: 800m Run with Plates Overhead 50/30

*Barbell is held on the back for Step-ups

12 2-Arm DB Thrusters
